"If someone is happy because of me, what would be more satisfying than?"
Heard this from someone a couple of days back and thought to ask are you sure? WAIT and think for a while. Having this perspective and even delivering this publicly is what? Satisfaction? No? Why? Are there some more ways to cite this statement? Maybe.
I know many of the people who are like this. Not having a bold personality is not the end of your character, you may be far better in some other thing than those who make fun of you in front of all. Being quiet is not the answer of it no one is going to stop or change his character and his view towards you by your silence. Everyone is something in himself difference starts when you show that or not.
"You are not for this world, this world is for you"
I may be judging this for good and maybe taken negatively, but this is again what? Way to view the statement, right?
Just like this, you are being an object to people and the reason behind is your silence which may be good to you, but actually not.
Speaking for yourself never considered bad. Blunt, Bold, Straightforwardness, etc. have always been a brighter side of a man's personality.
There's a small feeling of your own self of being degraded, of this dishonor, but who cares? Are you working out to solve this? To sort out the matter?
Speak for yourself.
No one is going to change his aspect, tell them you are not an object for them and you hate being a joke to everyone.

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, most of our college mates do this all the time. Nobody would like to be a joke or get insulted but people have the tendency of making fun of others, perhaps people do this to please their friends or to make them believe that they are good entertainers, this is something they can better elaborate themselves.
Making fun of ANYONE just for the sake of enjoyment and for merely pleasing somebody is one of the most hideous acts in my point of view. You should avoid such company of people or the least you can do is that do not be amused of their lame jokes, trust me, there are a lot other of things for amusement. :)

ReplyDeleteOkay again I just don't want to debate here but want to make it clear that I totally respect your opinion but what I and the related people (to me) have this point of view that "The sign of your close and best friends is that they keep on insulting you". This post is actually for the same people you mentioned, that "Nobody would like to be a joke or get insulted.." there are many people in my sight who are like this from the day first and even making them aware of this thing they're not changing themselves. This post is for those who usually been dishonored or insulted, I want them to say anything on their behalf they've to speak now or it would be too late.
One thing I want to clear here is that I am living my life, I respect people's opinions and suggestions for me but interrupting my life is something beyond and I think no one likes it. So please think like many times before commenting about me publicly and especially about my friends.

H'm, I suppose you took me wrong there. I never mentioned any of your friends nor I pointed towards any of them. I was talking generally but I have no clue why you took it personally. I just hoped that you would avoid such company of people if you had any and if you don't then well and good. I commented on this topic as a well-wisher and I didn't mean to criticize anybody but I was just trying to mention the common mindset of today's generation.

Kindly stop imagining stuff and start looking at things from a realistic view. I don't mean to start a debate here either, my sole purpose to comment now is to clarify my previous comment which was misunderstood.
