Violent Riots.

What and Why?

On the current issue of my religion, “Innocence of Muslims” creating hassles all over the world with a complete success. Every other Muslim country is protesting at it’s fullest against this movie including Pakistan, but there is something wrong in this protest. It’s the “aggression, hatred and violence” which is contradictory to our Islāmic teachings. Our religion is all about peace and love, but it simply doesn’t allows any space for the disrespect of any Prophet and Hazrat Muhammad PBUH is top off them all, but there are ways that our same Prophet PBUH our introduced, but are now been neglected by the protestors round the globe. The man who directed this movie wanted to exploit Islam’s image as a violent and cruel religion and pointing to the riots and disturbance as a result he proved his point of view whole correct. In my opinion, what I want to convey is that you’re not puppets who unintentionally acts upon their script that you are actually doing now. The cause of all this annoyance is a-not-defined-path-and-goal by our leaders and Islāmic scholars. Peaceful rallies and processions are all good until they are of any positive goal or achieving something. Breaking and lightening up public assets or disrespecting any religion or someone in return is not what Islam teaches. Even an important point, you don’t even realize when you burn a vehicle or anything or disrespect or kill someone in return, about the intention you have had that time. Maybe your personal anger or any personal aggression mixed up with it and the real motive of killing or doing bad will flew away somewhere.

Examples from Islāmic History:

It has been written in every schooling book and is specially read to our children to create the feeling of forgiveness and pardon.
  1. Muhammad PBUH used to pass by a street where a woman (who belongs to other religion) throws litter/garbage over Muhammad PBUH due to her hatred for Islam that made all of Muhammad’s PBUH clothes dirty and stained, but Muhammad PBUH never said or did anything harsh and even not changed his route because he was aware that one day the woman will feel guilty and shamefaced over her wrongdoings. One day Muhammad PBUH was passing by the same street when he noticed that the woman did not throw garbage over him, he seemed concerned. Then Muhammad PBUH went upstairs to that lady’s house and come to know about her illness. She perplexed on the arrival of Muhammad PBUH and expecting something bad from him, but Muhammad PBUH greeted her happily and prayed for her good health to Allah swt that turned the lady’s heart and she embraced Islam.
  2. In the battle of Khyber, Marhab (the non follower of Islam and came to fight against Islam) come to Ali AS’s opponent, he was so angry and heated by Islam and its followers and wanted to kill Ali AS, after some fight when Ali AS settled on Marhab’s chest to kill him, he spit on Ali AS that bring Ali AS to anger, but he did not kill him that time, he stood up from Marhab’s chest and started walking at the side and after few minutes came again to fight against him and cut Marhab’s body into two halves.
Later on, people watching this asked Ali AS that why didn’t you kill Marhab when you was on his chest? So he replied that, I was there to defend Islam and when I sat over his chest he spit over me where my personal anger involved in killing him so I stood up and calm myself, then killed him afterwards for the honor of Allah swt purely.

What to do?

The man launched a part of his movie on the internet that becomes a cause of all this riots and disturbance. What you suppose to do is use the same manifesto to tell the world that the man is whole wrong and we are eligible enough to protest by sharing the good and peaceful Islam and its teachings. Make documentaries or search for them and you’ll find them on the same platform where all this wrongdoing is. Share them with everyone, share them everywhere. To all the non-Muslims, to every religious sects and bring a change by words not hands.

Problems:

What the problem is, in our country or in we Muslims this reason is so rare to put the good things overboard and there is still a need to send a good and positive thinking of using this internet as your shield to protect your religion and this is not just by sharing hate speech content and putting protesting DP's on Facebook or Twitter, but to share Islāmic teachings and your role in this PEACEFUL WEB BASED WORLD PROTEST. Maybe anywhere in the corner of this world reads your point of view and it affects their mentality.

Appeal:

By the length of this article not even my Muslim friends will read this, since it is an important part by me in this peaceful protest to guide and teach the people who is still unaware. Therefore I ask your kind honors to please read and learn from this and share this with any and everyone as much as you can.

  1. Mr Hassan,
I totally agree and appreciate your effort, in addition to your article, I would like to augment that Protest really doesn't mean to hurt our own brothers, just think for once if we won't get paid if our office gets closed because of this violence, how it would effect our own life? so just think before getting so offended and aggressive.

  2. Thanks and I completely agree by your point of view.
It's just killing your own people and their families. Keeping it simple a common question arises that by doing all this aggressive and angry stuff like burning down your own public assets or anything alike does make any difference to the director and actors of the movie or even their state?

  3. Actually the extremist took benefit of all this and In the name of our BELOVED PROPHET (P.B.U.H), the looters killed and destroyed our land and assets. People left wounded, banks and atm's were looted, there were weapons all around. All the chaos happened to prove what ?! :/

  4. All that happened just because our lack of knowledge, our government's uncertainty and our ulma's indecisive behavior that created space for all those extremist who on a side destroyed our banks, atms etc and wounded people whereas on the other side drawn Islam and Pakistan's image. They were not there to prove anything, but just to fill their pockets and thanks to our media who didn't cover the peaceful protesters in other cities.
